Admission

College Admission

Ganga Institute of Architecture & Town Planning has rules about who can join its degree courses. If you want a B.Arch. you must have least 50 per cent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. You also need least 50 per cent in your 10+2. If you completed a 10+3 diploma that included Mathematics and you scored at 50 per cent overall you are eligible too. All candidates must pass a recognised architecture aptitude test. The Council of Architecture offers exams such, as NATA. You must pass them to qualify. Ganga Institute of Architecture & Town Planning relies on these standards to select students. B.Arch. Applicants must meet all these marks and test requirements.

For the M.Arch. (Landscape Architecture) program applicants must hold a B.Arch. Degree with least 50% marks from a recognized institution approved by the Council of Architecture. The admission process includes an interview and a review of the applicant’s past portfolio. For the M.Plan. Program candidates can apply with a bachelor’s degree in B.Arch., B.Plan. B.E./B.Tech. In Civil Engineering or an M.A./M.Sc. In Geography, Economics, Sociology or Statistics. These degrees must have least 50% marks and must be from a recognized university. Admission, to M.Plan. Also involves an interview and portfolio evaluation.
