System of Medicine:

Unani Medicine – a traditional Greco-Arabic system of medicine based on the teachings of Hippocrates, Galen, and Arab physicians like Avicenna (Ibn Sina). It uses herbal medicines, dietary practices, and natural therapies.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must have passed 10+2 (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and preferably Urdu as one of the subjects.

• Minimum qualifying marks as per University/NEET guidelines.

• Admission is based on NEET-UG score (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).

• Candidate should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.

Medium of Instruction:

Primarily Urdu, with some instruction in Arabic, Persian, and English (especially for modern subjects).

• Munafe-ul-Aza (Physiology)

• Ilmul Advia (Pharmacology)

• Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib (Preventive and Social Medicine)

• Mahiyatul Amraz (Pathology)

Clinical Subjects:

• Moalijat (Medicine)

• Ilmul Qabalat wa Amraze Niswan (Obstetrics & Gynecology)

• Jarahat (Surgery)

• Ilaj bit Tadbeer (Regimental Therapy)

• Amraz-e-Atfal (Pediatrics)

• Ain, Uzn, Halaq wa Anf (ENT and Ophthalmology)

Modern Subjects (as per CCIM guidelines):

• Modern diagnostic tools and basics of allopathic medicine

• Community medicine and health education

Internship:

• 1-year compulsory rotatory internship in various departments of the hospital attached to the college.

• Hands-on experience in Unani and basic allopathic diagnosis and treatment methods.
