The Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) in Hospitality Management at the Indian School of Hospitality (ISH) Gurugram is a program that is meant for students who want to work in the hospitality field in business management or in service-based industries. The program brings together learning about hospitality with lessons in business. Gives students real experience in the industry.
ISH offers the program in partnership with Les Roches Switzerland following the curriculum from Gurugram University. Students can develop their knowledge of how hospitality businesses work how to manage them and how to create customer experiences. They can also look into chances to continue their studies through study opportunities, in countries.
The BBA (Hons.) in Hospitality Management programme brings together hospitality education and business management. Students develop knowledge related to hospitality operations, management practices and customer experience. I find that this blend helps students see how hospitality and business work together.
The programme includes classroom learning and two structured work attachments. This lets students link classroom learning of Hospitality Management with real industry experience. I think this approach helps students see what it is like to work in environments and to meet the needs of hospitality-related businesses.
The curriculum is delivered in alliance, with Les Roches Switzerland. This gives students access to study pathways as long as they meet the applicable programme requirements.
From Semester 5, students can choose a specialisation according to their interests and career goals. The specialisation options listed on the official programme page are:
These are specialisation options within the Hospitality Management degree, not separate undergraduate courses. Each option provides a focused area of learning alongside the programme's core hospitality and management subjects.
The Indian School of Hospitality gives students chances to study with Les Roches campuses in Switzerland and Spain. Depending on their progress and what the program needs students can pick different paths.
India pathway: Students who finish the program through the India route get a BBA (Hons.) in Hospitality Management from Gurugram University. They also receive an ISH certificate because of the school’s alliance with Les Roches Switzerland.
Switzerland or Spain pathway: The official program page talks about transfer options after three or six semesters, at ISH. The degree you get depends on which path you choose and what’s needed to complete it. Students should check the program terms before deciding to go international.
I think Graduates of Hospitality Management programmes can look at jobs, in hotels, restaurants, resorts, tourism, events and other service businesses. Depending on the skills, experience and chosen specialisation of Graduates of Hospitality Management programmes possible career paths are:
Career opportunities depend on individual performance, practical experience, employer requirements and the area in which a graduate chooses to specialise. The programme's work attachments can provide exposure to professional environments during the course.
