Shamsher Bahadur Saxena College of Law is located at Makrauli Kalan, Rohtak, Haryana. The college was established in 2012 and is run and governed by Noble Welfare and Charitable Trust, New Delhi. It is affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, and recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The college is located on NH-71A, Rohtak-Panipat Highway, Makrauli Kalan, Rohtak.

The college offers two law programmes: B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) – 5 Years (Integrated Program) and LL.B. (Hons.) – 3 Years Program. The official website states an intake of 120 students for each law programme. The B.A. LL.B. Law programme combines education with subjects such, as Political Science, Sociology, Economics, History and English. The LL.B. College Admission

Admission is offered for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) 5-year integrated programme and the LL.B. (Hons.) 3-year programme. For B.A. LL.B., the college specifies 10+2 or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board, with a minimum of 45% marks for General and OBC category candidates and 42.75% for SC/ST candidates. For LL.B., candidates should have 

graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, with the minimum percentage as per MDU norms; the college specifies 45% for General and OBC category candidates and 42.75% for SC/ST candidates.

College admission procedure says that you can pick up the prospectus from the office during working hours. College office will only take the completed admission form if you bring it within the time. College does not take admission forms online like via email or WhatsApp. College wants you to hand in the required documents and photographs along, with the application form. College instruction language is English.

College Placement

Shamsher Bahadur Saxena College of Law has a dedicated Placement Cell. According to the college's official 2025–26 prospectus, the Placement Cell is responsible for student training and placement activities through campus placement drives. The college states that students receive guidance to develop skills related to resume writing, communication, written tests, group discussions, and technical and personal interviews.

The official prospectus also states that the college has entered into an MOU with the British Academy for English Language (BAFEL) for this purpose. The Placement Cell is also listed among the facilities available on the college campus.
