B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Law also known as Anangpuria Law School is situated at Alampur, Ballabgarh-Sohna Major District Road, Faridabad, Delhi-NCR. The institute was founded in 2007 by the Bhawani Shanker Anangpuria Charitable Trust. According to the website the institute was created with the aim of giving legal education that is socially useful and supports the goals written in the Constitution of India.

The institute is approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi and the Department of Higher Education, Government of Haryana. It is affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak. The institute offers B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes.

The institute uses a teaching style that mixes written study with real life practice. The official website lists activities such, as court practice, legal help, court trips, guest talks and internships. The institute also offers classrooms, a moot court, a seminar hall, a library and a resource and information centre.

College Admission

B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Law offers the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme. The programme has a sanctioned intake of 60 students. It lasts for 5 years. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with least 45% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST candidates the requirement is 42.75% marks. The qualifying examination must be from the Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or an equivalent examination recognised by MDU Rohtak.

The institute also offers the programme. This programme has a sanctioned intake of 30 students. It lasts for 2 years. Candidates must have passed the LLB (Professional) examination or an equivalent examination recognised by MDU Rohtak. They must have least 50% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST, Blind, Visually Impaired and Differently Abled candidates from Haryana the requirement is 47.50% marks. The institute fills 100% of the seats based on merit, in the qualifying examination.

College Faculty

The official website says that the institute has a 30 to 1 student-teacher ratio and that each batch has 30 students. The institute says this makes it possible for teachers to talk to each student.
