The B.A. Programme is a multi-disciplinary degree that offers students the flexibility to study two core disciplines along with elective and skill-based papers. It is suited for students who want a broad academic foundation across humanities and social sciences.
Each student studies:
Two Discipline Courses (DSC): These are the primary subjects chosen at the time of admission
Generic Electives (GE): One or two papers from other disciplines (non-core)
Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC): Two practical/applied subjects (e.g., writing skills, computer applications)
Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC):

Students select their subject combination during admission based on availability and their CUET subject scores.
Political Science: Indian government, political theory, international relations
History: Indian history, world history, cultural movements
Economics: Microeconomics, Indian economy, development economics
Hindi/English: Literature, communication, translation, and writing skills
English or Hindi (varies based on subject and student preference)
Typically from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Monday to Saturday
Internal Assessment: Assignments, tests, attendance
End-Semester University Exams: Conducted by Delhi University
Further Studies: M.A., B.Ed., competitive exams (UPSC, SSC)
